The BP24V-SP2U Extended Battery Module (EBM) provides extended battery runtime during power outages for the bXterra SP1000LCDRTXL2U UPS system. Taking up 2U of rack space, this EBM can be installed with the corresponding UPS in either rack or tower form. This Extended Battery Module has a recharge time of 12 hours when paired with a UPS system. The BP24V-SP2U comes with a 3-year Limited Warranty.

There are many factors to think about when choosing the size of your UPS system, but worrying about runtimes shouldn’t be one of them. PowerFrame™ is not required for your bXterra UPS to do what it was intended for. The software does provide extra features and controls in the event of a power outage.
Most bXterra batteries in our UPS systems should last between 3-5 years. Factors like operating temperature, load and storage conditions can affect the life of batteries.
